Mt Buller

Mount Buller is a resort village in eastern Victoria, Australia and is known for its downhill ski slopes and terrain parks. Bike trails and footpaths also crisscross the mountain. The National Alpine Museum of Australia has exhibits on the country’s alpine regions and chronicles the history of winter sports in Australia. Mountain peaks, waterfalls and high plains characterise the nearby Alpine National Park.

National Alpine Museum of Australia

The National Alpine Museum of Australia is located within the village at Mt Buller, Australia’s most popular mountain. The museum invites visitors to explore Australia’s alpine regions, from the fast and colourful action of snow sports to the fascinating early history of cattle, mining and timber. The museum has a comprehensive collection of objects from across Australia’s alps with many are on display.

Mansfield Zoo

Mansfield Zoo is one of North East Victoria’s hidden secrets, with a large collection of exotic and native animals on 30 acres of picturesque parkland featuring lovely views across the Delatite Valley to Mt Buller. Hand or spade feed many of the animals as you wander, including monkeys!
